Happy October 1st
Wanted to wish everyone a Happy October 1st. Now the real countdown begins... I spent the day working on props and putting up my graveyard fance and columns. People have already been coming by looking and asking about this years display. It's always this time of year that I get to talk to neighbors that I wouldn't have had the chance to talk to otherwise when they stop by and look at the setup. Maybe now that I have started setting things up I can stop having that nightmare I keep having where it is Halloween evening and I haven't set up anything yet.

Yes, it's always an exciting time when the 1st of October comes around, isn't it? I envy you. I wish I lived somewhere where tons of people could see all my Halloween stuff. We don't even get any TOTs anymore. We haven't in years. In some ways, I almost feel like what's the point in going to a lot of work to put up stuff when no one's even going to see it? I do it for myself, but it would be nice if others could see it, too. Maybe someday.
