Today, my son Joey and I carved our first Jack O'Lanterns of the year. I thought they looked pretty good sitting out on the front porch tonight, and I loved that old familiar smell. (Joey wanted his Jack O'Lantern to have three eyes, that's what the hole is near the top of the one on the right.)

This weekend we're hoping to go to the farm where we get our pumpkins every year. (and pumpkin fudge!) to get the first ones.
So happy the weather seems to be cooperating this year. In the 60's/70's up here.
