I keep having the same bad dream (nightmare, to me) and I wish it would stop. It's October 31st at about 6:00 p.m. and the first Trick or Treater's are making their way out. To my horror, I find that I have not even started to set up my yard haunt. Everything is still in the garage, basement, etc. and I don't know where I have been for about the last month or so, or how Halloween managed to sneak up on me. It continues with me trying to set up everything after it has gotten dark, and it just turns into one big disaster... things are falling apart, breaking, paint is coming off of things, everything you can think of is going wrong and people are looking at me with disappointed looks on their faces. Then I usually wake up, glad that it is over but feeling like I really need to get to work.

This dream probably means something but I don't know what.

This dream is actually VERY common among haunters. I've had this more times than I can count. Almost the same conditions - late Halloween, not one prop set up yet, kids starting to come around. I've heard other haunters talking about practically the same dream.

: )

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

I've had that dream, too, although not very often. Sometimes it get weirder, like there's been a murder and the police are around or I'm running from somebody (something?) while trying to set up.
