Halloween in Our Neighborhood

I love seeing pictures that other people take of our haunt and the surrounding area. Here are a few that my dad took at Grim Hollow and some other places in the neighborhood. Some of these turned out really great.

Everything looks great! The picture of twilight time just below the greenish photo totally reminds me of ET. Great photos

Your yard looks great! But do you always have so many people trick-or-treating in the daylight?

Unfortunately, we have a lot that like to start right around 5:30 or so... and with daylight savings time being so late in the year, it didn't get dark until about 7. We still have a bunch that come by after it gets dark, but still way too many that come by while it's still light outside. We still have people coming by until about 8:30 usually.

Thanks for the kind comments!

Amazing yard haunt! We have people coming by too early as well. It's a shame ~ they miss the true Halloween magic. Love the photos.

Great pics. Really like the costumes! What were they made of?

I made them out of some drop cloths that I dyed with some tan and dark brown dyes. They were just kind of draped over some black material... I saw a picture that somebody posted a while back of some props that had something like that on them a while back. I just always thought it looked cool, so I made our costumes look like them. I'll do a post showing the original picture of the props.
