SpiderFest

If you haven't heard about SpiderFest over at the Davis Graveyard, you should check it out. I'm excited about seeing some of the other spiders that other people will make and send in. I decided to go with the Wolf Spider, since that seems to be the one I encounter most often. Its body is about 14" long, and it has a legspan of about 36". I wish I could have figured out a way to cover its body in tiny little hairs, that would have been an awesome detail. Oh well, maybe next time...

  4. Thanks, everyone! I can't wait to get it shipped off once it is completely finished. I still need to weather proof it a little. Looking forward to seeing more spiders in the coming weeks!

  6. That is amazing.....I knew that someone was going to make one of those. They are probably why I hate spiders. There were everywhere where I grew up. Fuzzy and fast. I still get nightmares about those :)

I am going to try to hang the spiders myself....try....
