great pictures! i know i said it before but i love the ghosts and "GRIM" himself.(you need to post on how you do your lanterns. mine didnt turn out too well)
I just saw that scarecrow poem and posted it, along with one of your cool pics, on my Tribe page. I hope that's okay? I put a link back to your site so others could visit it. Let me know if you want me to take it off. I just love that tall scarecrow man!
I take it all down that night so that the next morning everything appears back to normal. For me, that is part of the haunt itself... almost like it just up and disappeared at midnight. You can use any of my pictures you want, no problem. Thanks actually, for posting them!
Cool! I have a Halloween tribe on there. You should totally get on Tribe if you aren't already! You can create tribes of your own. I'm happy to post pics of your haunt, and any other great ones. I'll post a link to your blog on my Halloween tribe. I have a few members on there whom I know would love your stuff.
To Johnny: I had it all broke down and moved into the garage in about 2 hours. I rolled up enough extension cords and air line to make Clark Griswold envious. I'll move it all around to my basement sometime in the next couple of weeks where it will be stored for the rest of the year.
To Pumpkin Queen: I am a HUGE fan of both Horror movies and novels. I'm into zombies and ghosts mostly when it comes to that. I'll check out Tribe sometime, too!
Stunning job Grim. You promised greatness and you didn't let us down. The faceless ghost pair are haunting and gorgeous. It just gets better and better. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks for sharing. Your props are amazing! As a fellow yard haunter I appreciate the time you put into your display! Truely inspiring! Can hardly wait to see what you do next!
Thanks for all the nice comments... I am glad that I am able to pass on some of the feelings (through my props) that I had when I first saw the works of Pumpkinrot, Skull and Bone, or The Homestead Haunt.
Really GREAT work! I love the colors and texture. It ties it all together. I'm getting so much inspiration seeing everyone's finished yards. I think I have to start making stuff year round.
